I have two main passions: social issues and expressing myself creatively.

I am fortunate to work with both.

My main projects are currently film-related. The most current project is a documentary on female genital mutilation, entitled “The Cut” which was launched September 1, 2009.

I write fiction films. I have written a few short film screenplays, most of which still are in various phases of production.

My main goal is to write feature screenplays that are produced. I have been involved on several projects, but it is quite the journey to actually getting something produced. I have been fortunate enough to have received writing grants and am currently hired by a major production company in Norway to write a screenplay that they want to produce very soon. In addition to this, I am writing and co-writing other screenplays which hopefully might be on that silver screen.

I also work on non-fiction: documentary films, other non-fiction films and as a freelance journalist and photographer.  My interest in social and humanitarian issues are very reflected in this type of work.

Previously I have worked in Media Communications, most recently for Mercy Ships. I also assist groups and individuals in making their own film projects, through hands-on approach as well as lectures and workshops.

At the moment I am also the steady freelance web journalist/editor for www.filmkraft.no .

I am currently working mainly as a freelancer on my own projects, but do accept cooperate gigs (please contact me for references of previous cooperate work as these are not displayed here)
